Yes, and we prefer to say so upfront rather than let you discover it on the day.

Cleaners do not move furniture or heavy objects: they clean around and under what can be reached, but a wardrobe or a sofa stays where it is. We do not wash curtains, and we do not clean chandeliers or ceilings without a stable stepladder. Windows above the second floor are not washed from the outside, and sealed panoramic glazing is cleaned from the inside only.

We do not take away construction debris, old furniture or sanitary ware, and we do not clean up after animals or handle biological waste. Clothes, duvets and leather furniture are outside dry cleaning as well.

Some things are physically impossible rather than refused: yellowed enamel, scratched laminate, grout that has darkened over years and rust in a bath will not come back to new with any product. And some jobs are simply charged separately — blinds, tile joints, the inside of cabinets, ovens and hoods.
