A summer house is cleaned twice a year, and those are two different jobs. In spring it is the opening: the house stood shut for six months, and the issue is not dirt but dust, cobwebs and insects on the sills. In autumn it is the closing: take out everything that will spoil over winter and leave the house in a state you are content to walk away from.
What it costs
A house is priced by rooms and bathrooms with the private-house coefficient of 1.2 — from UAH 2,340. For a summer house the hourly format is often more practical: UAH 499 per hour, because the work depends less on floor area than on how many things have to be moved.
Travel to the suburbs — Brovary, Irpin, Bucha, Vyshhorod, Vyshneve — is included with no coefficient.

Opening the season
The order runs like this: air the house and take cobwebs off the corners and beams, then dust every horizontal surface top-down, then the sills with their insects, the bathroom and kitchen, and the floor last. Washing the floor first is pointless — dust will settle on it twice more.
A fridge that stood switched off and smells is a separate item at UAH 550. If there has been no water all winter, say so in advance and we bring canisters.
Closing the season
Autumn is the shorter job: take out food and anything that will freeze, wash the fridge and leave it open, put textiles away in cupboards, clean the bathroom and shut off the water if you show us the valve. We do no plumbing work — only cleaning.
Insects and cobwebs
After winter the sills are usually covered in dead flies and ladybirds, and the corners and beams are hung with cobwebs. We take those down with a telescopic pole and vacuum the insects rather than sweeping them: sweeping scatters them across the floor and the job has to be done twice.
What we do not do outside
The garden, the lawn, the greenhouse, the pool, the garage and the facade are outside our scope. We clean inside the house, plus the porch and terrace where they are accessible and the weather allows.
How long to allow
A two-bedroom house after winter takes five to six hours for one cleaner or three for two. A large house gets a team; the price follows the scope of work rather than the number of people.
What the owner should bring
Keys to every space including the veranda and the store room, knowledge of where the water valve and the fuse box are, and rubbish bags if there is a lot. We do not remove waste from the plot — small amounts go to a nearby container if there is one.
When to go
In spring, once the snow has gone and the windows can be opened: cleaning a sealed house is pointless. In autumn, before the first frosts while there is still water. Both windows are narrow, so book a week ahead.
