A sofa is not cleaned when a stain appears on it, but when the fabric has gone darker than the armrests. That is not surface dirt: sweat, skin oils and dust settle deep in the foam, and a vacuum never reaches them. The only way out is extraction — water pushed in under pressure and drawn straight back out with the dissolved dirt.

The count follows the size, not the area of fabric and not the hours: however long a particular sofa takes, the sum stays the one you saw when booking. The minimum dry-cleaning order is UAH 2,600, so a single small sofa is usually combined with armchairs, a mattress or a rug.

How the cleaning is done
The cleaner arrives with a Kärcher extractor, professional chemistry and brushes. The sofa is vacuumed first and pet hair is brushed off — skip that and the hair mats into the pile. Then the solution goes on, works for three to five minutes, and the extractor passes over the fabric in overlapping strips.
One sofa takes about an hour, a corner sofa up to an hour and a half. The fabric stays damp for four to eight hours: closer to four in a dry, aired room, closer to eight in winter with the windows shut. You cannot sit on it during that time, but you can use the room.
What comes out
- coffee, tea, juice and wine — usually completely, if the stain is no more than a few weeks old;
- grease and food stains — completely;
- pet and child urine — with an enzyme product that breaks down the source of the smell rather than masking it;
- the general grey film of daily use — this is the most visible result;
- old dye, hair colour, rust and sun-bleached patches — these only get lighter.
The cleaner explains the limits before starting, not after you pay. If a particular stain cannot be guaranteed, you know it in advance.
What we do not do
Leather and faux leather are never extracted — water damages them; such furniture is wiped and treated with a conditioner. We do not wash removable covers: those go into your machine according to the label, while the foam underneath is cleaned in place. Crumbling foam inside an old sofa becomes more obvious once wet, and you are told so beforehand.
When to book
Once a year for an ordinary living room, once every six months with a pet or a small child in the house, and separately after an illness in the family. Before selling or letting a flat, sofa cleaning is done together with the apartment cleaning: it is the cheapest way to change the impression a room makes.
