Cleaning after builders is not one job but two. The first pass comes as soon as the crew has left: heaps of dust, leftover materials, mortar on the floor. The second comes before the furniture arrives, when the dust has settled a second time and the space has to be brought to a liveable state.
UAH 150 per square metre for each pass. A 60 m² flat is UAH 9,000 per pass. Windows after renovation cost 499 each, an additional hour 499, and a powerful vacuum, if ours is needed, 699.
Many clients book only the second, finishing pass: the first is done by the building crew under their own contract. That is normal practice, and we do not insist on two visits when the site has already been roughly cleared.
Here volume matters more than shine. We take the main layer of dust off every surface, scrape mortar, filler and expanding foam from floors, tiling, glass and sanitary ware, and clear small debris from corners and behind radiators. We work in respirators with filtered industrial vacuums.
Small debris in bags we carry out ourselves. Bags of mortar, plasterboard offcuts, broken tiles and dismantled structures are removed by the contractor — a separate service with different equipment.
The second visit happens before the furniture arrives, while the flat is still empty and the dust has settled again. The order of work reverses: first the top — light fittings, curtain rails, tops of wardrobes — then vertical surfaces, and the floor last, in several passes.
This is the stage at which it makes sense to book the inside of the kitchen cabinets (UAH 900) and the windows: once the furniture is in, reaching them is far harder.
A flat up to 60 square metres gets two cleaners, anything larger gets three. One pass in a two-room flat takes six to eight hours: after renovation the work is roughly twice as slow as ordinary cleaning, because every surface has to be gone over twice.
Filtered industrial vacuums, scrapers, spatulas, a steam cleaner, a stepladder and professional chemistry for mortar, paint and glue. From you we need water and electricity; on a temporary supply, warn us in advance, because powerful equipment can trip the breaker.
For an office after renovation we work at night or at weekends: the space has to be ready for Monday, and the service acceptance act is issued with the same date. For a private house the count follows the area of all floors, with stairs, terrace and entrance hall included in the area rather than added as a coefficient.
Ideally once the crew has taken out its tools and waste but the furniture has not yet arrived. Call earlier and the builders carry on working and the dust returns; call later and the cleaners have to work around boxes, which adds about a third to the time.

Usually two: a rough one straight after the work and a finishing one before the furniture. If the crew did the rough clearing, one is enough.
No. Bags of mortar and broken tiles are taken by the contractor; small debris in bags we carry out ourselves.

Before. Once the furniture is in, reaching the windows and the inside of cabinets is much harder.
