One window costs UAH 350 and that covers the glass on both sides, the frame, the sill and the fittings. Insect screens are removed and rinsed separately. After a renovation, or when tape residue has to be scraped off with a blade first, a window costs UAH 499.
One window means two sashes that do not reach the floor, or a single floor-to-ceiling sash — one section of a French window. A balcony door counts as one window, and an old frame with two rows of sashes counts as two, because four glass surfaces and the gap between them have to be washed.
Loggia glazing is counted by the sections that open: four to six in a typical panel-built flat. If you are unsure, send a photo of the room to the manager and you will have the exact number before booking.
Window cleaning without a flat cleaning starts from five windows — a single window does not justify the trip. Together with a flat cleaning there is no minimum: one or two windows are simply added to the booking and take about an hour.
Cleaners work with a professional squeegee, a scraper for stubborn marks and streak-free glass cleaner rather than household spray. Sills, the radiator beneath and the balcony glazing are often added in the same visit while the ladder is already there.
The outer side is washed wherever it can be reached safely from inside. Windows above the second floor from the outside and sealed panoramic glazing need rope access, which we do not do — and we say so before you book rather than on the day.
An overcast day without frost gives the best result: in direct sunlight the solution dries before it can be pulled off and leaves streaks. In winter we work down to about −5 °C; below that the water freezes on the glass. Spring and autumn are the busiest seasons, so book two or three days ahead.
The amount is fixed when you book and does not change on site. Blinds are not part of window cleaning — they are hourly work at UAH 499 per hour and have to be requested in advance. Payment comes after the work, by card or in cash, and the guarantee is the same as for any cleaning: write within a day with photos and we come back.
