How do you calculate windows?

One window means two sashes that do not reach the floor, or a single sash if it is floor-to-ceiling — one section of a French window. A balcony door counts as one window.

An old frame with two rows of sashes counts as two windows: four glass surfaces have to be washed, plus the space between them, and it takes twice as long as a modern double-glazed unit.

This is the most common misunderstanding when booking, which is why we have a dedicated page with drawings showing how the counting works. If in doubt, send a photo of the room to the manager and you will get the exact number before you confirm anything.

The price of UAH 350 per window covers the glass on both sides, the frame, the sill and the fittings. A window after a renovation or with tape residue costs UAH 499, because the glue and cement are removed with a blade first and only then is the glass washed.
