Podilskyi District joins two very different parts of the city: historic Podil with nineteenth-century buildings, and panel-built Vynohradar with Vitriani Hory and the Mostytskyi area. Podil: old stock and renovations
In the buildings around Kontraktova Square a particular combination is common: a fresh renovation inside the flat and old plumbing in the building. That means limescale on taps even after new sanitary ware — it is removed with an acidic product left to work, not with a single wipe.
After a renovation in the old stock, fine construction dust stays in the floor gaps and on the cornices, which is why such flats are cleaned in several passes.
Vynohradar and Mostytskyi
Vynohradar is dominated by eighties panel blocks with 6–7 m² kitchens and combined bathrooms. The most frequent extras here are the oven, the hood and the tile joints: they give the most visible result for a modest sum.

What does post-renovation cleaning cost on Vynohradar?
UAH 150 per square metre. For a 60 m² flat that is UAH 9,000; windows after building work are separate at UAH 499 each, because film and mortar are removed first.
Do you clean flats in Podil buildings without a lift?
Yes, and there is no surcharge for the floor: stairs are part of the base price.
What can be done about limescale on taps?
