Exactly the same way as for a standard cleaning. Two sashes that do not reach the floor make one window. A single floor-to-ceiling sash is also one window. A balcony block of a door and a window counts as two.
Only the price differs: after a renovation a window costs UAH 499 instead of the usual UAH 350. The reason is straightforward — the protective film is peeled off the frames, and traces of tape, paint, primer and cement are removed. That takes longer and needs a blade rather than a squeegee.
We wash the glass on both sides, the frames, the reveals, the sill and the outer ledge if it can be reached from the window. Glazing bars and insect screens are cleaned too, with the screens taken off and rinsed separately.
Panoramic glazing and windows above the second floor are not washed from the outside. The easiest way to get an exact figure is to send photos in a messenger before booking.
The calculation is simple: we take the price of an ordinary deep cleaning of the flat and add several hours of work for the room where the renovation took place. That comes out noticeably cheaper than applying the UAH 150 per square metre rate to the whole area.
The logic is that dust does not stay in one room. Even if the builders worked only in a bedroom, it settles in the hallway, in the kitchen, inside wardrobes and on textiles. Cleaning the bedroom alone makes little sense — a day later the dust is back.
So the flat gets a standard cleaning, while the renovated room is treated in full: reveals, skirting boards, radiators, traces of paint and glue, the window with its film and tape.
The manager will quote the exact figure. Tell us the area of the flat, the area of the renovated room, what was done there and how many windows need washing. The quote is free and commits you to nothing.
Yes, that happens. The rate of UAH 150 per square metre is designed for a full renovation: dust from chasing walls, mortar residue, film peeled off windows, glue and paint to be removed.
If the work was cosmetic — new wallpaper, repainted walls, a couple of replaced doors — the volume of work is noticeably smaller and we reduce the price. Sometimes such a job is better booked as a deep cleaning with a few extra items added.
To find out which option is yours, send the manager photos of the rooms and the bathroom in a messenger. The pictures show the amount of dust, the state of the floor and whether there is mortar on the glass. An answer usually comes within half an hour.
The price is also lower if only one or two rooms need cleaning rather than the whole flat, and if the windows do not need washing — they are charged separately and are not part of the per-square-metre rate.
We carry out around a hundred post-renovation cleanings a month in Kyiv alone. This is not occasional side work but a separate line of business with trained teams, and it includes office buildings, sports facilities and whole floors of new developments handed over turnkey.
Every cleaner goes through training and works with a supervisor before being sent to a site on their own. We employ people under contract and assign a manager you can write to at any point.
Payment comes after the cleaning. You look at the result first and pay afterwards; we ask for no prepayment. If something is wrong, the guarantee applies and the team returns to finish the job.
Damage is covered by the company's insurance fund, so the matter is settled with us rather than with the individual who was holding the mop. And there are reviews: several hundred ratings from clients in Kyiv, including those describing how we corrected our own mistakes.
Write to us the same day or the next one — by messenger, by email or through your personal account. Describe what exactly was not done and attach photos: a picture immediately shows whether an area was missed or whether a mark physically cannot be removed.
Then there are two outcomes. If the cleaner really did miss something, the team comes back and finishes the job free of charge, usually within twenty-four hours. If coming back is no longer practical or convenient for you, we refund part of the amount.
Some things cleaning does not fix: grout driven into unglazed tiles, spatula scratches on laminate, paint under a layer of varnish, glass clouded by mortar. The cleaner warns about this on site, before the work is finished rather than after a complaint.
Complaints are handled by a manager, not by the cleaner who did the job, so the outcome does not depend on how a conversation in the flat happened to go.
We always finish post-renovation cleaning in a single day. The team arrives in the morning and works until the job is done, not until the end of a shift.
As a rough guide: a one-room flat of up to 40 m² takes about five to seven hours, a two-room flat of 60–70 m² takes eight to ten, and a house or a large flat from 120 m² takes a full working day for a team of three or four people. Windows, the oven and the inside of kitchen cabinets add an hour or an hour and a half each.
The condition of the place matters. If the builders removed the heavy waste and swept the floor, the work goes faster. If sacks of mix and offcuts of plasterboard are lying around, the first hours go on clearing rather than cleaning.
You do not have to be there the whole time: open the door, and we can return the keys afterwards for UAH 499.
No. The price the manager quotes when you book is fixed and does not grow during the work. The cleaner will not call from your flat saying it is dirtier than expected and asking for more.
The amount is calculated from the area at UAH 150 per square metre, plus the separate items you choose — windows, the oven, the hood, the fridge, the inside of the cabinets. All of it is visible before you confirm the booking and repeated in the confirmation email.
A recalculation is possible in one case only: when the real scope differs from what was described. If you said 60 m² and the flat is 95 m², or mentioned four windows when there are nine, the manager contacts you before the work starts, shows the new figure, and you decide whether to go ahead. Quietly adding hours to the bill is not something we do.
Payment comes after the cleaning, once you have accepted the work. We take no prepayment.
No, we do not remove construction debris. That is a separate service with a van and loaders, and it is not part of any of our rates.
Small items we do take: wallpaper offcuts, pieces of film, empty packaging, tape and cardboard — anything that fits into rubbish bags is collected by the cleaners and carried out to the nearest container. The bags are ours.
Broken tiles, sacks with leftover mixes, pieces of plasterboard, old windows, doors, sanitary ware and furniture are not taken away. That is bulky construction waste; municipal containers are not meant for it, and dumping it there carries a fine.
The right order is simple: the contractor or a waste service removes the heavy material first, and then we arrive. If sacks are still standing in the flat, the cleaners have to work around them and the result suffers. If you are running late with the removal, it is better to move the cleaning by a day or two — we are relaxed about that.
For us, post-renovation cleaning means you can move in and live there, not that the floor was swept. We remove construction dust from every surface, including the tops of wardrobes, radiators, window reveals, skirting boards and door frames, and take off traces of glue, expanding foam, filler and paint from floors, tiles, glass and sanitary ware.
Floors are washed in several passes: after building work the dust rises again and again, so one pass with a mop settles nothing.
The bathroom and kitchen are cleaned in full: basin, WC, bath or shower, taps, backsplash, the outside of the units. The inside of kitchen cabinets, the oven, the microwave and the hood are separate items, added on request.
Windows after a renovation are also counted separately, at UAH 499 each, because the protective film is peeled off and traces of tape and mortar are scraped away before the glass is washed.
Everything is ours. For post-renovation cleaning the team arrives with professional vacuum cleaners that cope with construction dust and fine debris, a stepladder, glass scrapers, a steam cleaner and a set of products for each type of surface: one for tiles and grout, another for laminate, others for sanitary ware and glass.
From you we need only water and electricity. If the water is not connected yet, say so when booking — we will bring canisters, but the work takes longer and that is worth allowing for in the schedule.
If you own a wet vacuum cleaner and would rather it was used, that is fine, the cleaners will work with your machine. The opposite happens too: in a new building where the wiring is temporary, a powerful vacuum trips the breaker, so we agree on the power supply in advance.
The separate "vacuum cleaner on the order" line for UAH 699 applies only to ordinary cleanings; here the equipment is already included.
