Dry cleaning supplies

We work with professional dry cleaning products by Kärcher and Cleamen. They are certified and chosen for the fibre rather than for the stain alone: velour, chenille, flock, natural cotton and synthetic upholstery all react differently to moisture and to active ingredients.

The products are safe for homes with children and pets. Everything sprayed into the fabric is drawn back out by the extractor, so nothing is left behind to be breathed in or licked off; the faint smell that remains disappears within a few hours as the furniture dries.

Before starting, the cleaner tests the product on an inconspicuous area — the back of the sofa, a hidden corner of the rug. Coloured fabrics can bleed, and this is the only way to check it in advance.

If a household member has an allergy, say so when booking. We will use a neutral formula and rinse the fabric with additional passes of clean water, which takes a little longer but leaves less residue.
