Height and mouldings
With ceilings of 3.2–3.5 metres, construction dust settles on cornices, mouldings and top shelves. We take it off with a telescopic pole as part of the standard job; washing mouldings and chandeliers in full is hourly work and needs a stable stepladder with a platform.
Parquet and wooden sills
Old parquet is washed without excess water: the gaps absorb it and a board can lift at the edge. We work with a barely damp head and a product made for wood rather than a universal one, and the cleaner comments on the condition before starting.
What is included
Construction dust from every surface including reveals, radiators, skirting boards and door frames; traces of glue, paint, primer and filler from floors, tiles, glass and sanitary ware; film and tape removed from windows; floors washed in several passes; the bathroom and kitchen cleaned in full.
Access in the centre
Many buildings here have no lift — there is no surcharge for the floor. If the courtyard is behind a barrier, state the access method in the booking: cleaners travel by public transport, which affects neither the price nor the start time.
The limits of the job
Construction waste is removed by the contractor: sacks of mixes, old frames, doors and plasterboard are not ours to take. We do not dismantle structures or work at height without stable support — in flats with 3.5-metre ceilings that matters.
