Pechersk has more tall windows than any other district: in the Stalin-era buildings of Lypky the ceilings are 3.2–3.5 metres, the sashes are large and the sills wide. That is why window cleaning is booked here more often than elsewhere in Kyiv, and the result shows immediately.

The sashes here are higher than standard, so the cleaner works with a telescopic pole and an extended squeegee. Wooden frames are cleaned without excess water: dried-out wood absorbs it, and the cleaner comments on the condition before starting.
Wide sills are included in the price of the window. If plants or books stand on them, clear them in advance so the surface can be cleaned as a whole.

In gated developments and new blocks the glazing is panoramic and is counted by the sections that open. Fixed sections and windows above the second floor are not cleaned from the outside — that needs rope access.
