Obolon has two kinds of glazing: panel blocks in Minskyi Masyv with standard two-sash windows, and new developments by the embankment with floor-to-ceiling panoramic sections. The price is the same — UAH 350 per window — but they are counted differently.
What the price covers
Glass on both sides, the frame, the sill and the fittings. Insect screens are taken off and rinsed separately. A window after a renovation, or one with tape residue, costs UAH 499: film and glue are removed with a blade first.
How windows are counted
One window means two sashes that do not reach the floor, or a single floor-to-ceiling sash. A balcony door counts as one window. Loggia glazing is counted by the sections that open — usually four to six in a typical Minskyi Masyv flat.
In the newer blocks by the embankment a panoramic wall is counted the same way; the fixed parts are cleaned from the inside only.
Minimum order
If you book windows alone, without a flat cleaning, the minimum is five. Together with a cleaning there is no minimum: one or two windows are simply added to the same visit and take about an hour.
The outer side and height
The outer side is cleaned wherever it can be reached safely from inside, through a sash that opens. Windows above the second floor from the outside and sealed panoramic glazing are not cleaned — that needs rope access.
What the work includes
The cleaner washes the glass on both sides with a professional squeegee and a streak-free product, wipes the frame, the seal and the fittings, and cleans the sill and the outer ledge within reach. Insect screens are removed, rinsed separately and put back.
Blinds are not part of the window price: that is hourly work at UAH 499 per hour and has to be requested in advance.
When to book
An overcast day without frost gives the best result: in the sun the solution dries before it can be pulled off. In winter we work down to about −5 °C. After winter the glass in Obolon carries dust from the river side, which makes spring the busiest season here.
How long it takes
A standard window takes 30–40 minutes; one after a renovation up to an hour. Five windows come to about three hours, so such a visit is best booked for the first half of the day.
Payment
The amount is fixed at booking and does not change on site, and there is no prepayment. If streaks are left after the work, write the same day and the cleaner returns and redoes them free of charge.
