How much window cleaning costs in Kyiv

One window costs UAH 350. A window after a renovation, or one with tape residue, costs UAH 499: the film and glue are scraped off with a blade first and only then is the glass washed.

The price covers the glass on both sides, the frame, the sill and the fittings. Insect screens are taken off and rinsed separately, and the outer side is cleaned wherever it can be reached safely from inside.

How windows are counted

One window means two sashes that do not reach the floor, or a single floor-to-ceiling sash — one section of a French window. A balcony door counts as one window. An old frame with two rows of sashes counts as two: four glass surfaces plus the space between them have to be washed.

Loggia glazing is counted by the sections that open; in a typical panel-built flat there are four to six of them.

Booking window cleaning on its own

If you order windows only, without a flat cleaning, the minimum is five windows. A single window does not justify the trip, while a four-section loggia plus the kitchen window already makes a proper booking.

People often add the sills, the radiators underneath and the balcony glazing — it makes sense to do it in one visit while the cleaner is already working with a ladder and a squeegee.

What we don't wash

Windows above the second floor from the outside and sealed panoramic glazing are not cleaned: that needs rope access, not a stepladder. Blinds are part of neither standard cleaning nor window cleaning — they are hourly work at UAH 499 per hour.

The best time for it

An overcast day without frost gives the best result: in direct sun the solution dries too fast and leaves streaks. In winter we wash windows down to about −5 °C; below that the water freezes on the glass.

The easiest way to get an exact count is a photo: send pictures in a messenger and the manager will confirm the amount before you book.
