Hallway Cleaning in Kyiv | Chysty Kit

What hallway cleaning includes

The hallway is cleaned as part of a standard booking from UAH 1,950: the floor in the corners and under the cupboard, skirting boards, doors and handles, switches, the mirror, shoe racks, the chest of drawers and the tops of wardrobes.

It is the dirtiest zone in a flat: street dust comes in every day, along with de-icing salt in winter and sand in summer. That is why the floor here is washed last and, if needed, in two passes.

Charged separately

Cleaning inside a fitted wardrobe is not part of the base price: emptying the shelves, wiping inside and folding things back costs UAH 399, and a separate walk-in wardrobe is UAH 350.

If there is a lot of footwear in the hallway, box the spare pairs before the visit — then the floor is washed as a whole rather than around the shoes.

When the hallway needs more

After a renovation or a move, construction dust and box marks stay in the entryway. That case is priced as post-renovation cleaning — UAH 150 per square metre — or by the hour at UAH 499.

The details that show

We wipe the intercom handset, door handles and architraves, and clean the mirror streak-free with a professional product. The doormat is shaken out; if it is a deep-pile mat that has not been cleaned for a long time, it can be extracted at UAH 130 per square metre within the UAH 1,399 minimum dry cleaning order.

The winter scenario

From November to March the main mess in a hallway is not dust but road salt carried in from the street. It leaves white marks on laminate, tiles and in the joints; fresh ones wash off with ordinary damp cleaning, while marks a few weeks old are treated with a steam cleaner for UAH 350.

The mat by the door is worth cleaning every two weeks in winter: it takes the bulk of the salt, which is why it greys faster than the floor.

What is included

The floor including the corners and under the shoe rack, skirting boards, doors on both sides, handles and switches, the mirror, the outside of cupboards and the shoe area. The inside shelves of a fitted wardrobe are cleaned by separate arrangement — people keep things there, and the cleaner does not decide what goes back where.
