Cleaning before the baby comes home

The first weeks at home with a newborn leave neither time nor energy for cleaning. We take that part over: a standard flat cleaning from UAH 1,950, with the option of regular visits at a discount of up to 15 %.

What makes this cleaning different

We use gentle products and rinse them off thoroughly, and where chemistry can be avoided altogether we use a steam cleaner: the cot, the highchair, the changing table, door handles, switches and the floor beside the bed.

No strong fragrances are used. If you have products you trust, leave them out and the cleaner will work with those.

Worth adding

Mattress cleaning from UAH 999, a children's sofa UAH 999, a pram UAH 999, a rug UAH 130 per square metre. Everything is done at home with a Kärcher extractor: the solution is drawn back out with the water and the fabric dries in four to eight hours.

The minimum dry cleaning order is UAH 1,399, so smaller items are worth combining.

Making the visit easy

Say which rooms should not be entered during a nap and where to start if time runs short. You do not have to be at home the whole time: leave the keys with family or order delivery for UAH 499.

Products and safety

We use professional products without a sharp smell and no chlorine in the room where the baby sleeps. After damp cleaning the floor needs no extra wiping: the product leaves no film behind.

If you would rather the cleaner used your own products — baby soap, soda, a particular brand — say so when booking. That is a normal arrangement and we are set up for it.

What to do before the visit

Clear bottles, dummies and small items off the surfaces so nobody else has to handle them. Point out the room where the baby sleeps: the cleaner will do it first or last, whichever suits you, and without noisy equipment.

A wet vacuum (UAH 699) is worth adding if there are rugs in the flat: it traps dust in water instead of returning it to the air through the exhaust.
